THE RESOURCE LIBRARY
Guides, how-to's, and tools to help you feel confident at every stage of your journey.
Mixing your peptide with bacteriostatic water is the first step. Follow these steps carefully — sterile technique is essential.
Prepare Materials
Gather your peptide vial, bacteriostatic water, insulin syringe, and alcohol swabs. Wash hands thoroughly and let both vials reach room temperature.
Sterilize Vial Tops
Clean the rubber stoppers of both the peptide vial and bacteriostatic water with alcohol swabs. Allow to air dry.
Calculate Water Amount
Determine how much bacteriostatic water to add — typically 1–3 mL per vial depending on peptide concentration needed. Use the Recon Calculator for exact amounts.
Draw Bacteriostatic Water
Insert the syringe into the bacteriostatic water vial and slowly withdraw the calculated amount.
Add Water to Peptide
Slowly inject the bacteriostatic water into the peptide vial, aiming the stream against the glass wall — not directly onto the powder.
Gentle Mixing
Gently swirl or roll the vial between your palms. Never shake vigorously — this can damage the peptide structure.
Check Solution
Verify the solution is clear with no visible particles or cloudiness. If particles remain, continue gentle swirling.
Label and Date
Record the peptide name, concentration, reconstitution date, and expiration date on the vial.
Store Properly
Store the reconstituted peptide in the refrigerator at 36–46°F (2–8°C). Use within the recommended timeframe.

Subcutaneous injection is the most common administration method. Always use a fresh syringe and rotate your injection sites.
Prepare Workspace
Wash hands thoroughly and set up a clean, well-lit workspace with all supplies within reach.
Sterilize Vial
Swab the peptide vial top with an alcohol pad and allow it to dry for 10–15 seconds.
Prepare Syringe
Draw air into the syringe equal to your intended dose amount. This creates positive pressure in the vial.
Draw Dose
Insert the needle into the vial, inject the air, then invert and slowly withdraw the correct dose.
Remove Air Bubbles
Hold the syringe needle-up and tap gently to move bubbles to the top. Press the plunger slightly to expel them.
Prepare Administration Site
Clean your administration site (abdomen or thigh) with a fresh alcohol swab. Allow to dry.
Administer
Pinch the skin at the site, insert the needle at a 45–90° angle, and administer slowly and steadily.
Dispose Safely
Immediately place the used needle and syringe into a sharps container. Never recap or reuse needles.
Store Vial
Return the peptide vial to the refrigerator immediately. Maintain the cold chain at all times.
Never Reuse Syringes
Use a new, sterile syringe for every injection to prevent contamination.
Rotate Sites
Alternate between injection sites to prevent tissue damage and improve absorption.
Maintain Cold Chain
Return vials to the refrigerator immediately after each use.
